Welcome to EduKate. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website www.edukate-services.com, online learning portal, and tutoring services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

  • Our Services are intended for students under 18 years old who have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for creating and managing student accounts.

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep login credentials secure.

2. Educational Use Only

  • Our Services are for personal, educational, and non-commercial use.

  • Students and parents agree to respect all instructions, schedules, and learning materials provided by tutors.

  • Misuse of the platform (e.g., sharing inappropriate content, cyberbullying, or cheating) will result in account suspension.

3. Intellectual Property

  • All teaching materials, lesson plans, videos, and resources provided by us or our tutors remain the property of EduKate.

  • You may not copy, share, or resell our content without written permission. Doing so may lead to legal action.

4. Student Conduct

  • Students must behave respectfully toward tutors and other students.

  • Bullying, offensive language, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

  • We reserve the right to remove students who violate these rules.

5. Payments & Refunds 

  • Payment for tutoring sessions must be made in advance via approved methods.

  • Missed sessions without 24 hours prior notice may not be refunded.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • We strive to provide a safe, supportive learning environment, but we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their child’s online activities.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages from technical issues, unauthorized use of accounts, or misuse of Services.

7. Privacy & Child Protection

  • We take children’s privacy seriously.

  • Personal information is collected, used, and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy [insert link].

  • We comply with child data protection regulations (GDPR in UK).

  • Parents/guardians consent to their child’s participation and agree that pupils will have access to a personal login account with personal information, approved by themselves, which will be visible only to the company.

8. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if these Terms are violated.

  • Parents/guardians may request account deletion by contacting us.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom.

  • Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of United Kingdom.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.

  • Continued use of the Services after changes indicates acceptance.
